Over the last decade, Artemis has supported numerous commodities transactions by performing pre-contract due diligence into counterparties and assets under negotiation to prevent clients from entering into fraudulent transactions and suffering losses.
Such investigations are underpinned by our knowledge of the processes and contracts that are used legitimately and by our extensive network of consultants ‘on the ground’ throughout sub-Saharan Africa and other remote parts of the world where resource exploration (and related fraud) is rife.
Additionally, various clients have used our research capabilities to identify and pre-qualify prospective buyers and sellers, prior to engaging in negotiations with them.
